CAUSE OF BEHAVIOR. Scratching is a natural need for cats, not a behavioral problem. Your cat may have been exercising, maintaining its claws, or encountering an issue with its scratching post. Cats with a more dominant nature often scratch objects to identify and preserve them as part of their resources. DIRECTIONS. 1) CLEAN the scratched area regularly and let it dry. Avoid using bleach. 2) Turn the Nozzle of ¡AHÍ NO! deterrent to the "STREAM" position and apply it in a wide area. Dispense 1 shot every 5 feet. No scrubbing is required. 3) AIR the room for 60 minutes. The deterrent has an immediate pungent odor that shifts into a Rosemary scent within minutes. 4) ENCOURAGE your cat to use scratching posts by applying ¡AHÍ SÍ! Catnip. 5) APPLY the deterrent daily until the inappropriate scratching behavior is broken. After that, reapply every 3-7 days as needed.
